Floyd is obviously a hero to his fans for the way he fights. So why do they blindly bow down to him when making unreasonable demands? Better yet, why do they pretend these demands ARE reasonable when it prevents them from seeing their favorite fighter?
Not at all! Fighters fight for money first and glory second. It's a sad reality of the sport. Their careers are not as long as say a DR or Lawyer. You have to make as much as can. So if I could fight DLH for 20 or Marg for 8 I would pick DLH. Only a fool would do different. Arum should have came correct and offered something close to what DLH offered. You wouldn't work your job for considerably less money just for the sake saying you work for the best company. Why the hell would you expect a fighter to risk HIS health for less for your entertainment????? Cmon!

Floyd has enough money to never fight again and live great. His promotion company are doing good numbers with the different concerts he's helping promote. But asking for $20 Million up front is really absurd. He sells himself for a lot more than he's worth, but nobody's going to budge unless he comes down.
If Floyd really needed money he would probably have different finacial demands. So if he really does not want to fight, then that is the ammount that would convince him otherwise. If your not going to come correct to him, do not bother him. That is how I take it.

If he does not want to fight for less then that, that is his choice. If he does not need 8 million why run the risk of getting killed in the ring.
I doubt that the self-proclaimed ‘Greatest Boxer Ever’ has any confidence issues as far as getting killed in the ring…especially against a 37 year old Mosely whom he had wanted to fight previously
Mayweather got 20Mil+ for Oscar and 15+ for Hatton. The last time he was offered 8Mil was from Antonio Margarito with no get up. Went & got that 8Mil from beating Baldomir & the recognize Welter Weight title. Floyd is about getting his. At this point if he came back out of retirement to fight Manny that fight would fly off the meter from people that love him to the people that HATE him & love Pacquiao & want to see Floyd lose & think Pacquiao can win. That fight would be HUGE. Maybe Mosley's fight wouldn't be that big but it would do some good #'s do to the past rivalry and word exchange between the two. I don't think 20Mil is unreasonable considering that he got that before. Now people will say "Oh he priced himself out cause he is scared to fight" Wow! But when Manny was demanding more cake people said he deserved it? when Hatton has a big fan base, loyal fans with better currency. Miguel Cotto will possibly look past Joshua Clottey for not even next to what Floyd wants but people Cosigned that all day saying Kermit Cintron/Andre Berto will make the most $? If they want PBF then pay him, if not leave the guy alone.

Why do you care so much about what another man demands to get in the ring after they already retired? To me that is sickening, that you are on anothers mans case that much.
