    Did I say he wasn't?

If you look at some of my older posts you'll find I always said the Jones win means nothing. It's just a name. Joe was also very open about that fact himself: "Because the name looks good on the resume."

I can't say it was a great win because that wasn't the Toney I was used to seeing and I don't want to take away any credit for the win but A good win should been been an option so I went with, Toney was just a name but was weight drained

He called himself the "legend killer". He said he beat Hopkins and was going to kill the other legend in Roy Jones. He also said that Jones proved he was in good form by winning some good fights up to the event.

There are a thousand articles of Calzaghe talking total phaf about what the fight means.

Even if that is true, well whose faults that? It's like saying someone didn't train properly and using it as an excuse.

It's not like the guy had been fighting for years at other weights and cut it for that fight.

A year later he was still fighting just 7lbs above what he fought Jones at.

It was a good win, not a great win because of Toney's weight problems but that was Toney's own fault, ballooning to over 200 pounds between his fight with Williams and Jones deserves no excuse, there was only 3 months in between fights.

Agree, reason why I said a good win should have been an option. I was thinking about just not voting

Yeah, I believe it was said tongue in cheek. Some people took it way to seriously.

Exactly why I didn't vote. Not enough options.
