What I mean is that fighters are always saying all kind of ridiculous ****. It is part of the game. You just have to accept it and leave it at that, not hold them accountable for every little comment they drop in every interview.

The guy gave me a red.

I havent even thrown one offensive word his way, despite him insulting me.

you gotta love these Calzaghe hero worshipers.

James Toney was undeafeted, in his prime, and I believe he was not only the top smw but p4p#1 at the time.

PPL only say that Toney was drained because of how Jones dominated him and because Toney moved up to LHW after the fight but if you watch that fight, Toney wasn't any less active then he usually is and he didn't show signs of fatigue. He was in the fight the whole time, he just didn't know how to deal with Jones.

I know that but like in all walks of like there is a line you don't cross.

It also easy to pick out what is trash talk, promotion, and what is something else away from boxing bravado.

I once got 5 reds for saying Calzaghe ranks below Sugar Ray Robinson.

I think you are being a little sensitive there but ok. I'm not sure "I am a legend killer" is really crossing any line that could be considered reasonable but each to their own.

One of the great Superfights of the 90's. Toney was awesome throwback and got to showcase his skillz after knocking out Michael Nunn. Too bad Roy Jones was at his pinnacle that night...he would have beating up anybody. Classic is the videotape of the fight, which we still have on VHS. Here's the best line from Toney's trainer Bill Miller; "Roy can't fight, nobody taught him how to fight. James will beat him...uh...It's like a lamb being led to the slaughter...he don't want it...but he's gotta have it... Gotta give him what he ask for." This was called the "Uncivil War" and though it was pretty one-sided in favor of Jones, Toney would keep coming back and stay competitive for the next 12 years or so. While Roy...well he never looked this good again. Period.

So boxers should not be held accountable for anything they say, and noone should ever pass comment on what they say?

All I have done is make one comment about Calzaghe proclaiming himself a "legend Killer" when taking on a shot to **** Roy Jones - and stating it was not said tongue in cheek like professed by the Calzaghe fanatic on here. Is that really so bad?

Anyway i'm tired with this now.
