There's something corrupt about this. Maskaev's promoter is Dennis Rappaport apparently. Does Rappaport have a close relationship with Sulaiman?

I think the only reason that Maskaev even getting this shot is because he is sueing the WBC or something like that. So maybe if they dont make Vitali fight him then they'll get sued for tons of money. Well maybe maskaev can do the boxing world some good and sue the WBC out of business to give us one less sactioning body.

Rahman did twice.maskaev beat vitali into submission in the amateurs,has good power & boxing ability.so what about the peter fight.maskaev to came off an injury just like vitali did.I'm sure maskaev wouldn't stand in front vitali at distance.maskaev has a good left hook & body punches which peter never did

I believe maskaev had a rematch clause in his contract when he lost to peter.so I think he is trying to win a court battle to get his title shot he was owed against peter & since vitali beat peter maskaev wants his shot at vitali

maskaev was unhappy w/ the purse split vs peter and a few other things w/ the wbc so he sued them. They settled the lawsuit after he was KO'd by peter by telling him as long as he does not lose again, he will receive a mandatory shot immediately after jc gomez. thats the ONE and ONLY reason he is. don't give me that **** about maskaev beating him into submission either, unless you are referring to the way chris byrd also beat vitali into submission. learn your facts.

Vitali says he wants to fight Haye, but Wlad is still in negotiations to fight Haye (indirectly, Schaefer and Finkel are negotiating to make it happen after negotiations between Booth and Boente broke down) - and even if that falls through, why does Vitali think he'd be able to make the fight happen on terms acceptable to him if Wlad can't? Doesn't make sense.

I agree dave amateurs don't mean **** but I enjoyed masksaevs take on it during his interview.vitali wanted him so badly when maskaev was champ so what's the problem? I've seen plenty of boxers fight hurt but I know vitali QUIT twice(throwing in the towel is the same thing)once in amateurs & once against Byrd when he was beating Byrd's ass.he couldve danced around for a couple of rounds but he quit instead.vitali is living off his lewis lost still.so what he was ahead on the cards he couldn't get it done.he's so overrated besides the last I remember fights are 12rds not 6.
