we are talking a bout current p4p, so take winky, barrera, cotto, out of the equation. mosely has only had one good win in years. jmm, got beat by pac, and if you are critical about pacs opposition, you have to say casa and mab are not in prime. hopkins lost to calzaghe, (controversial) but most of his victories have come against smaller men e.g. trinidad, delahoya, wright. his main victory's are against pavlik and tarver. not good enough to go ahead of pac.

pac is the best current fighter, love it or hate it!!!

no no boxinguitarfan... u got to exclude jmm on ur list... manuel medina was old and was very shot when jmm beat him... casamayor also... barrera was shot when jmm faced him... in prime derrick gainer was a friggin runner and victor sosa and orlando salido are b-fighters... and you say pacquiao is not very good... so where does that leave jmm? jmm beating a not so good pacquiao on top of fighting shot and b class fighters?

That really shows you're a hater. Mosley was rated #1 when he beat DLH, but since then he's had a very mixed career and has lost a lot of fights, and his only really impressive win since then was against Margarito, whose style was made for him.

Hopkins belongs near the top, and was rated #1 at one time; but he showed against Calzaghe that he doesn't have the stamina he once had, and Taylor and Calzaghe both showed he doesn't cope very well with high work-rate fighters any more. And he's lost three of his last six fights, two of those wins, Tarver and Winky, were also against fighters who were way past their prime; and Pavlik's style is made for him.

JMM is a great fighter and most P4P lists have him in the top 3, but the only hall of famer he has beaten is a way past his prime Barrera. His last fight was against an even older Casamayor.

Barrera lost his last two meaningful fights and should have stayed retired, to include him in a current P4P list is ridiculous. Plus he lost decisively to Pacquiao twice.

Cotto has only beaten one future hall of famer so far, an old Mosley; and when he was at Jnr. Welterweight he avoided Hatton.

Winky hasn't fought for 2 years for crying out loud, and he lost his last fight by a wide decision - he doesn't deserve to be in the current rankings at all, never mind near the top of them.

cotto or mosley destroy pac hes confident cause he thinks all welter will do nothing like delahoya ,but thats not likely.as far as jmm he landed more and took the championship rnds wouldnt of been contreversial at all punch stats vs opinion i dunno no more pk vs jmm 2 jmm won the compubox and had pak not seeing out of his eye the last rnd due to a punch, pacs knockdown vs more landed shots and more rnds, sleeptime

Its ok as long as the guy have balls to fight them... what if he pulls it? He has also chance to win those fights... Every boxer have a chance, i dont have any problem if pacquiao will fight them as long as he himself is willing to take the risk...

morales ducked marquez but morales is definitley shot he was since the last of the barrera fights,that he beat pac was a miracle and a testament to how good he was.morales too many wars,not even old
