Hatton is no pushover. They better be prepared for everything he's gonna bring. Having said that, I got Pac by 8th round TKO.

roach probably says he's not concerned with hatton's bodypunching because if hatton is smothering pac's punches, then he's smothering his own punches.

Hatton will win and here's why

Pacquiao does his best work when he pushes forward, and although he can fight off the back foot he is at his best when he lunges to deliver the straight left. Hatton is an inside fighter and cuts off the ring extremely well. Consider the following: Has Pacquaio ever fought anyone like Hatton in terms of nonstop pressure and a brutal body attack? I can't think of anyone who has consisently backed up Pacquaio for every minute of the round, and if history teaches us anything the man accustomed to applying the pressure that is suddenly backing up the whole time finds himself on the end of a loss. Need some examples? Cotto-Margarito. Margarito-Mosley. Hell, you could even go back to Mayweather-Castillo I(which I believe Castillo narrowly won on points).

The only way I see Hatton losing this fight is by his tendency to cut. If Pacquaio can dart in and out using his speed and open up a cut, then Hatton is in trouble. If not, Hatton's vicious body attack will drop Manny for the count given Manny's suspect ability to take shots in the body(look at Pacquiao-Marquez 2).

The chin of the 2005 Hatton that fought Tszyu, is miles ahead of today's Hatton chin.

Hatton's footwork is as good as any fighter today and goes from out of range to inside faster than anyone else.

if you watch closely hatton is exceptional at drawing an opponents jab and then coming in after it falls short.

I think Pac will win this, but I could see Hatton pulling off an upset because he knows what it's like to lose to THE top guy. To me as entertaining as Hatton is he has never looked as good as he did when fighting Tszyu, before that fight Hatton thought he was good and deserved a shot but after that fight he started to read his own news clippings and started to think he was greater then he is. Hatton's not great but very good (at best), however he does have enough heart to try pull this off. But I see Roach having a game plan even better then the DHL one. I just hope both turn up on form because I can't freakin' wait for this one!

I hope Roach is joking a bit here. Hatton is not slow, and he will definitely land his share of body blows even if he does lose.

I'm tired of reading this. Hatton didn't change at all. He used his jab a little more like in the Tackie fight maybe, but his style was the same. His corner is better, style is the same.
