Agreed on most things but while Clottey's combinations may be faster, but I think Cotto has the edge in getting off his punches first in most occasions. Mosely stated that Cotto's speed was surprising and is what threw him off in the fight. Clottey just happens to throw more combinations in his fights. Whatever the case Clottey isn't a bad matchup for Cotto in anyway other than it could be a fight that he can lose. I doubt that Clottey has the guns to cause any lasting physical damage and he'll still be the betting favorite.

Yeah, that's why I said Cotto's timing is more than enough to make up for it. The fight definitely isn't a mismatch, I think it can go either way.

Clottey makes it a close-close fight. I think that he is the only boxer who can do it; Cintron gets seriously embarrassed AGAIN and Berto just gets hurt.

I'm not sure I really want to see this fight as these two guys are my favourite at 147. If I had to give a slight edge to either it would be Cotto but it would be one hell of a fight that is for sure.

Cotto will be hitting with his left Hook to the body at will. Clottey have a good defense , but only for head shots, and he dont take well body shots. Cotto will put him in his shell defense after 5 rounds. Cotto will hit Clottey to the body so much that hell TKO CLottey in the 11!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel the same way, but I will be happy no matter who wins just as long as it is convincing enough.

He doesn't has the work rate to make Cotto back off, neither the power to do so. This would be a competitive fight but Cotto wins by UD.

Great fight. Cotto is a skilled fighter and will outwork clottey with his constant pressure and punishing body shots. Clottey has a solid defense but will not throw enough punches to match cottos stanmia, also does not have the power to seriously threaten cotto's plan of coming forward to make the fight. This fight is by far the most competitive between the two other oponents. Business wise cotto should fight cintron. To add to his record, Berto (easiest of the three). Most entertaining Clotty.

Clottey is going to win if they fight, I just know it, Clottey is the bigger, more durable man, and Cotto has had his toughest challenges against those kind of guys(Mosley, Margarito). Clottey is also the best defender he has ever faced, and if Cotto could find Margarito's body, he's going to have a hard time finding Clottey. Clottey will counter punch Cotto more then he has ever been, nobody has ever done that very effectively to Cotto for a whole fight. Torres did a good job but his chin is weak, Gomez countered Cotto very well at times but he hits just as hard as Malignaggi. I'm suprised Mosley isn't as good of a counterpuncher, but Clottey will land impressive combos. Clottey could eat Cotto's power too. He's fought strong guys in the past. Clottey got this, June 13th, you'll see.

Clotty won't be blocking punches with his face, unlike margarito he is hard to land cleanly on. Fights kind of like Quartey, but without the bazooka jab. IMO he beats Cotto.
