Clottey is a bad matchup for Cotto

Cotto can't beat Clottey, this is a bad match up, he should go for Cintron or even Berto

    You are right about this.

Clottey is too durable to be hurt by Cotto, although either Cintron or Berto are very winnible fights.

not really, clottey is a very complacent fighter, who has slowed down late in fights even more times than cotto, is weak mentally, his best punches are short hooks(cotto's block is strong and generally placed like earmuffs....) and his style is not flashy at all to get him points.......

clottey can win because of his huge size, good defense, good durability and overall skill, but his style is not a bad one for cotto to exploit.....

He's a bad match up if Clottey outweighs him by 20 or so pounds....

cotto might be able to outwork clottey. depends if he can pace himself and defend against clottey's uppercuts and overhand rights. clottey doesnt have the power to KO cotto late, he just needs to rack up as many rounds as possible and coast the last few rounds without sustaining too much damage.

Cotto can win on points, but I agree Clottey gives em hell and I pick him to win a UD. They better fight dammit!

Don't agree. All that size and durability doesn't mean **** if he doesn't put the pressure on Cotto. And Clottey can't sustain the amount of pressure needed to really trouble Cotto too much.

If Cotto fight smart, he would win an easy UD.
But he will not fight smart!

How is he weak mentally? When have you seen him quit in a fight?
