Cintron does not deserve the shot, he hasn't earned it. Clottey deserves the shot, he has earned it, but it is the most dangerous fight for Cotto. I said it once and I'll say it again. He is fighting Berto. And he will beat Berto because Berto showed in his last fight against Collazo (which I honestly thought Collazo won) that he is not ready to fight the elite in the welterweight division and needs more work. Cotto vs. Berto in June.

Maybe they didn't find anything wrong bacause they didn't pay attention or because Capetillo and Margacheato have done it so many times that they are pros at it. According to witnesses that stuff looked old and it even had a dry blood stain on it. Yes Cotto got beat and yes he took a knee and yes Margarito took his 0 and belt that night but you know what, there will always be tha question: did Margarito cheat against Cotto or any other of his previous opponents? I think he did. You think he didn't. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. When or if they rematch, we'll see how much Margacheato's punches affect Cotto. If they don't do that much damage maybe the question will finally be answered.

Clottey deserves it more, but Cotto will choose Berto. Because this fight is being centered around the PR Parade, it makes sense that he go with Berto, who just beat Collazo, a fellow Puerto Rican.

I don't think he chooses Cintron because of the parade. It's supposed to be about PR pride. If Cintron was undefeated and a real threat to Cotto's standing and rep in PR, then he'd pick Cintron in a second. But he's not gonna win the hearts of PR beating up a PR cat like Cintron (who will lose to Cotto IMO).

The biggest money is with Berto. And that fight carries the most excitement. HBO will approve.
