This thread's boring me. Hitman, I thought you said you were handing out the lollage?

The way I see it, Germany has been shown to be corrupt in the past, even with Artur Und Ick Bon and his bust jaw.

They should fight in the States, where Ick Bon will win, probably by late TKO.

Totally ridiculous discussion, because Pav or his management don't want to fight AA anywhere whereas AA would even fight Pav in his backyard...

BTW...where is Pavlik's comment from? source?

The fight needs to happen and that's all there is to it. Getting a big boxing match signed is all about negotiating and compromise. If they start now, maybe they'll actually come to terms and a fight can be made within a year.

The fight would be bigger in the US I think. This is understandable given Germany's track record with home town decisions.

If I wasn't a "hometown" Germany fighter I would never fight there. You're basically setting yourself up to be robbed unless you decapitate the other guy.

Anywhere in Europe outside of Britain for that matter.

People seriously blow out of proportion the amount of bad decisions in Germany. True there's been some awful ones, and generally they look a shambles. But proportionately across the board, bad decisions wise, it's nowhere near to the extent made out by those in and out of the game.

Can the people ranting on about it even actually say they've seen more than 5 fights that were in Germany which were blatant robberies?

Whilst I wholly support cleaning up the sport in terms of decisions, bad ones and bad things happen everywhere. Look at yet another glove scandal in America right now. Generally fights in Germany are fine and bad decisions are I'm afraid, still a minority everywhere.

Nearly all of the worst decisions I've ever seen happened in the U.S. Yeah, I know about Ottke, I know about Michalchewszki but have you seen...De La Hoya?

Anyway, it's about who's in the driver's seat, not where they're from. Pavlik is in the driver's seat so of course I don't expect him to go anywhere else. But there's pretty much an equal chance of Abraham getting a bad decision in the US as there is vice versa. Doesn't matter anyway, I highly doubt Abraham can make 160.

Abraham already admitted that he's willing to come to Youngstown to fight Pavlik. Kelly needs to stop stalling and make the fight happen.
