Oh boohoo! Pavlik isn't going to go to Germany and sacrifice himself to the German judges just so you can say how they both tried really hard to make this fight.
He isn't narrowing any chances because there is 0 chance and 0 reasons for Pavlik to go to Germany. He is simply stating what everyone else already knows and here comes Dirk Diggler to point out that Pavlik is trying to sabotage Abraham's ascension to the Boxing Heavens.
Abraham has been champ 2 years longer than Pavlik and made no effort to take a tough fight much less unify the division, that's where I will point the finger when this fight doesen't happen.Comment

Off the top of my head I can think of far more disgraceful officiating and judging in the States recently than in Germany. Toney v Oquendo... The 5:10 min round... Cintron v Martinez... Santa Cruz v Casamayor... Bute v Andrade...To name a few.Last edited by damian5000; 02-24-2009, 12:10 AM.Comment

Abraham has said and proven he'll fight in Germany OR America. Pavlik is ruling out the fight in Germany. So Pavlik is the one narrowing options, not Abraham.Comment

I've added another..Bute v Andrade... You're able to name one (Val v Hol) that is debatable, but certainly no means a robbery or example of bad officiating/judging.Last edited by damian5000; 02-24-2009, 12:13 AM.Comment

I am willing to bet the German undercards that we hardly ever see are littered with bogus decisions in favor of hometown fighters.
It's not just the judges but the referees in Germany are just as bad.
For instance:
1. Stopping Abraham-Miranda for 10 minutes to fix AA's jaw. That would never fly in the USA I do not care who was fighting who.
2. Ref helping Yoan Pablo Hernandez up to his feet after getting decked by Wayne Braithwaite. Never seen a US ref help a US fighter rise from a knockdown in all my life.
3. Danny Batchelder hurting Dimitrenko badly twice with legit body blows, both times fight stopped by ref and ruled "low blows". Complete joke, Dimitrenko would have lost but they protected him.Comment

You get to watch every fight that happens in America and only the championship fights out of Germany.

For the first part, you're making assumptions... And in regards to the 1,2,3...Those fights are how old? How bout something recent. I've only gone a little ways back and am able to rattle off many.Last edited by damian5000; 02-24-2009, 12:17 AM.Comment
