Pavlik and his team were trying to make the fight happen for a while now, Arum said clearly that Pavlik fight is not of interest to him. Now Pavlik comes out of the blue and says that he want fight AA because he doesn't want to fight in Germany, while Pavlik's team said that they're willing to travel to US to fight. Sounds like excuses to me. I like Pavlik a lot, but it doesn't sound like he's up to that fight.

Now for all of you claiming Pavlik is a chicken. He has fought at least 5 tough and dangerous opponents in his last 7 fights. Two of those opponents are or were considered grade A P4P grade fighters.

He took the true harder road and frankly I find it sickening that some of you with some strange agenda want to **** all over him. I don't know what you are all smoking, but Pavlik does not strike me as the type to step away from a challenge.

So he does not want to fight in Germany. All the power to him. Abraham wants his belts and wants to be the champ, well he has to go to Pavlik. Germany is not the place you want to take a gamble.

Well the people, like Dirk, who criticise Pavlik are just biased Brits who think Americans need to cross the ocean regardless of circumstance.

The bottom line in this fight if that Abraham, if he wins, will do so by knockout. He isn't going to win rounds against Pavlik by covering up for 2 minutes and throwing a few flurries. So if he is depending on a knockout it should not matter to him whether he is fighting in Germany, USA or the goddamn MOON for that matter.

Pavlik, on the other hand, probably needs a decision to win. He may be able to knock AA out but Abraham covers up so much he doesen't get hit clean. It would be 10 times dumber to fight AA in Germany than it was to fight BHop.

Not to mention how bad it will be for boxing if Pavlik went over there, won 10 rounds clearly, and lost a Split Decision.
