    true that

duran fought until he was nearly a vegetable (age 50!!!) - and it wasnt even his deteriorating health that made him retire, but a car accident!

it took a few beatings to convince ray leonard to hang em up

and hearns is still going, and last fought in 06

    ****s sake lol

Maybe Chad Dawson will want to fight Hearns after Tarver? Or will he want a third fight with old Antonio...

              He likes fighting old men.

I thought Tarver called Dawson? And no1 can beat up old men like good ol Joe Calzaghe.

Joe is an old man of 37 himself, while Dawson is 26.

yes but chad dawson is still a semi-prospect, as a prospect unfortunately for the elderly, you have to fight them to get more experience. I hope he's not fighting older people when he's near his 30's but as boxing is today who knows? if he tries to pull a Calzaghe i'll be the first to bring hell on him.

how about foreman vs holmes in "the battle of the pensioners"! At least Holyfield can still fight top 20 guys reasonably competitively.at 46 he was. Robbed against "the friendly giant" but when was the last time hearns fought? 20years maybe & he wants a title match.Hopkins(43),Holyfield(46) are active competitively he hasn't been.maybe he does some sparring but I'm not so sure it's a good idea.
