I've been a Clottey fan for some time now but I don't think that he deserves a PPV headliner against Cotto. While I do respect him in the ring I think he's overrated with what he's accomplished. A win against Corrales making a jump from 135 to 147 and a TD win over Judah don't exactly impress me, and they happen to be his biggest wins. Maybe if he can put on a convincing win over Collazo or Quintana I'd say give him Cotto. As far as him calling Cintron a p**sy he's probably right about that never have I been so disappointed in a fellow P. Rican, and despite Clottey's confidence in a KO win not gonna happen. Again lets not forget that he couldn't KO Corrales who's know to be knocked down and out several times. Cotto by decision or late stoppage in this one.

So your saying Joshua Clottey doesn't deserve a PPV head line with Miguel Cotto but Michael Jennings did? Get real. Joshua Clottey is a title holder at 147 & he did give Antonio Margarito more fits and a closer fight then Miguel Cotto did. We all know that Zab Judah quit because he was getting beat down and faked a accidental head butt. Clottey deserves a shot at Cotto and everyone else at 147 off the strength that he is a champ in that division and is MUCH BETTER & MORE of a test than Michael Jennings. Clottey is right Miguel did fight a NOBODY! A str8t up gift win.Comment

clottey is just saying what he got to say to get the fight with cotto. i respect that cuz clottey deserves a shot. and as a cotto fan i'll go on record and say that clottey could give cotto problems with his defense, good jab, stamina and strength. this is the kind of fights we need to see happen. I'm tired of all this Cotto talk like dude is the illest boxer on the planet. Miguel Cotto got beat down by Antonio Margarito the same way Cintron did. I don't get what makes Cotto so spectacular of a boxer? Clottey didn't get beat down by Margarito like that, Williams or Shane. Cotto is a good fighter but all you need to do is pressure him and don't back down from his power and aggression and you can KO him. He has to be the most touchable fighter in the ring. Miguel Cotto is not that great like everyone is making him out to be and that's why I can never cosign him because I know he is easy to beat against a game opponent. I think Miguel Cotto has the most Groupies of any other boxer out active right now. People are Co signing him coming back off of a long layoff to fight a scrub? Talking about he needs to take it easy coming back? Cotto hasn't been active since last July? That's plenty of time to get in your rhythm and fight a real fight. I try to keep my mouth shut and not bash a boxer but some of the people threads I read on here is crazy. Cotto is the most babied and excused fighter EVER. Cotto/Cintron got a foot in their ass by bum ass AntFonio MargarCheato and Cotto is supposed to be the best & people have to wait to fight him? Alfonso Gomez? Michael Jennings?? Come on man!!
