Oh and Taylor lost to Pavlik twice.. including a KO.. so no matter how ****ty Pavlik is.. Taylor is worse..
Taylor beat Hopkins twice. Hopkins dominated Pavlik. Doesn't work that way, dude. I also thought Taylor won the rematch with Pavlik.

I think he has a great run at middleweight.. the criticism he got was that he made the fights closer then they should have been.
regardless, he beat hopkins twice and got a draw with wright.
I would say the guy who says wright is a "small guy" is an idiot though. wright and taylor are practically the same size.

Taylor fought two small guys, coming up from 154, in a row; Ouma and Spinks. And also looked bad against those two. That is why Taylor got a lot of criticism.

Exactly. Spinks fighting at 160? Come on. Not to mention he was haunted by a good portion of the boxing public believing he never won the title in the first place.

Jermain didn't really look BAD against Ouma, he just didn't look as good as he should have. He didn't live up to the expectations everyone had of him. You're right about Spinks though.

I actually thought Jermain looked best against Wright (in a losing effort...even though he was awarded a draw). He performed well and fought a smart fight, abandoning a tactical fight with a better tactician.

Taylor maybe landed 3 notable punches against Hopkins in 2 fights. Maybe.

If you fight world class opposition it is not always easy to look impressive, could he have looked better against Ouma and Spinks sure, but to me he looked just fine against B-Hop and Winky.

he had a pretty good run of back to back fights at middleweight

the only criticism I got, is that his fight against Spinks was about as exciting as watching paint dry

I'm not even sure he won the Spinks fight. I fell asleep after eight and had him losing until then.
