Hopkins, he reaffirmed that he was still a great fighter, when he ran over Pavlik in his next fight. Eubank didn't win a fight post Calzaghe.

Since perception is part of reality, I say Hopkins.

Eubank was 4-2 before he fought Calzaghe. Had two fights at 175 before Calzgahe fight. Took the fight at short notice. He was planning to fight at 175 for WBC title but had to enter a 2 week weight draining regime to make weight. Eubank never won a fight again. Nor was he ranked in the SMW ranking or even a P4P fighter EVER

Two weeks is not a big problem for Eubank to drop 7 pounds, especially as he was used to making weight late. He often shed weight close to fight time. Joe Calzaghe was GREEN. Eubank had massive amounts of pro experience. It was a great win for Calzaghe. Both were preparing for different fighters shortly before they fought each other. Calzaghe beats Eubank no matter what the weight.

Flawless, you always use the weight excuse to discredit a fighter. It's boring, and most of the time you over dramatize it, saying stuff like "It's sickening how Pacquiao forced Morales down to 130 from 135. "

You're not "sickened" at all. You don't give a **** about Morales' welfare. You are just saying it because you want to discredit Pacquiao. You are scared of him looking better than Mayweather. You use the weight excuse to discredit Calzaghe's win over Eubank. The weight had nothing to do with it. Calzaghe is a better fighter than Chris Eubank.

Who said Eubank was 175 exact. 2 week before a fight fighters are above the weight by a lot. Does it change the fact he entered a 2 week weight draining regime to make weight.

I don't even rate Eubank highly yet alone waste my time to discredit the guy. I am sicken fighters like Calzaghe and Pacman best wins are over weight drained fighters. I have regard for human life

People, just accept that his best win is against B-Hop. Eubank, Kessler were never on the P4P list and as for the people who say Kessler is his best win, well guess what, Kessler's best win is against Anthony Mundine (Who is trash). So listen, Kessler is a really good fighter and I'd pick him to beat Pavlik/ Dawson but because Kessler is unproven, it only makes Calzaghe win over him mean NOTHING.

You can't debate which is Calzaghe's best win because the only fighter Calzaghe faced...who was on the P4P list was B-Hop and it was a damn close fight

This "P4P" stuff is laughable, really.

                But I pick Hopkins.

Don't get me wrong, it's actually a tough choice to make and you can make a case for either, but in my opinion, a clear points decision over 31 year-old Eubank is still a better win than a controversial split decision over 43 year-old Hopkins.

Also the Hopkins fight was ugly and unwatchable. The Eubank fight was an exciting war. Great fight, great win. I have a lot of respect for Eubank, though, as I do for Benn and Watson.

Clear points decision over a non-ranked SMW non-ranked P4P fighter who was weight drained is not better than a controversial split decision over the number one LHW and 3rd bets fighter in the world at that time.

Does it matter what type of fight it was. Calzaghe was knocked down come back and "won"
