Who was the better win for calzaghe

Hopkins was coming off a win over Winky and Tarver and beat Pavlik after Calzaghe fight.

Winky was a P4P fighter at the time. Hopkins also beat Tarver who was the number ranked LHW at the time. It was a impressive win. After Calzaghe fight Hopkins beat Pavlik was another P4P fighter

Eubank was 4-2 before he fought Calzaghe. Had two fights at 175 before Calzgahe fight. Took the fight at short notice. He was planning to fight at 175 for WBC title but had to enter a 2 week weight draining regime to make weight. Eubank never won a fight again. Nor was he ranked in the SMW ranking or even a P4P fighter EVER

I always said the same thing: Eubank was Calzaghe's best win.

I think it is Hopkins. Both were older fighters but Hopkins didnt have wars like Eubank did.

Calzaghe 1st win (Which wasn't) against a fighter on the P4P list was against B-Hop. B-Hop is his best win

I think his best win was Kessler. Younger, stronger foe whose catching him with nasty cuts through five and Joe changes his whole approach to take over the second half. Next would be Hopkins because, hey, look what he did to Pavlik one later. I don't care about where people were rated P4P; those ratings told me in the late 80s that Azumah Nelson was barely top ten when he was really top three.
