We are more dedicated to the sport. We love our fighters and have respect for them win or lose. We will cheer for them win or lose. Look at Jeff Lacy, as soon as he tasted defeat he was labelled as a bum. You don't get that over here. I'm looking forward to seeing Jennings back on the domestic level and following his career more. Even though he lost, I respect his courage, and heart. He deserves more exposure back at home.

yeah i see your point. If i was brit i definitely would love hatton. Seem liked a blue collar hero from U.K. Its not always about the talent.

It may not be an intentional bait thread but in the end it will probably turn into a flame war.

Brits do stay up to watch the fights but considering we don't have to there will be no way to tell if the Fat Yanks would do the same. They did heavily support Hatton and traveled in huge numbers for their countrymen which showed great dedication.

I stayed up to watch the Darchiniyan fight too. We are labelled as biased Brits, but I always watch matchups from all over the world. I'm watching Pavlik - Rubio this afternoon though. Seeing Jennings stopped weakened my appetite for boxing last night.

He never caught a bad beating or nothing, he will be better for the experience and at least he can say he got his shot plus fighting at the Garden is pretty big

                  Brook or Gio?
