  • Pac beat you to submission. A lopsided beating that caused you to sit on your stool and not get up for your fans, your honor, and the prefight talk you claimed before the fight. Now you have the nerve to talk about Pac not being a hard hitter. Stop already

The second this fight was made the boxing world was upset that you choose this fight and now you want people to have sympathy towards you.

NO ONE WANTED TO SEE Pac. vs. DLH. Now take this beating like a man.

I may be wrong but I think the only time dlh has been down is from a body shot. Take the great Sugar Ray Robinson....he had devastating one punch knock out power,.......yet he couldn't put Jake LaMotta down. He beat LaMotta to a pulp and was pounding him so hard that the referee was forced to step in and stop it....but at the stoppage, LaMotta wasn't even close to going down. LaMotta had a great chin. So does DeLahoya.
Well said. Oscar just has a great chin. I dont know why people r upset because he said PAC doesnt hit hard. When have any of u PAC fans seen DeLahoya hit on the chin and hurt? Yes he has been stunned but never hurt. PAC is never going to hit hard at 147 its just a reality.

honor or dignity in mexico is a joke.
Honor or Dignity has always been a MYTH in mexican fighters. Just because u take a lot of punches doesnt make u a warrior just means your skills are limited. Why do u think DeLahoya was never accepted as a "TRUE" mexican warrior? Because he didnt stand there and get his face beat to a pulp until the PAC fight.

Wouldnt the whole package includes defense? Which he clearly doesnt have...

No the "Mexican Warrior" mentality is that you will fight and die before you accept defeat, its obvious that they won't die because their corner will stop the fight, it means that no matter how bad things are looking for you, you will never give up, not the skills being limited, a lot of Mexican fighters weren't limited and were "TRUE" mexican warriors", just because some Mexican fighters are limited doesn't mean they all are.

                  • Oscar should have kept his moth shut and stayed in his cocoon awhile longer.
For him to attempt to diminish the opponent that pwned him so badly just shows that he has not yet recovered enough self respect to be talking to reporters without shaming himself further. I say this and I hold Oscar in high regard as a boxer. He was great. That time is over. Sorry Oscar. Go play some more golf. Enjoy your accomplishments with dignity.

                    • Pacquiao gave Oscar De La Hoya a BEATDOWN and nothing Oscar can say at this point is going to erase that from the minds of the millions of viewers that witnessed the most embarrassing BEATDOWN of Oscar Delahoya's career.

Talk all you want Pac haters, those having sympathy for Delahoya, and those that want to discredit Pac's accomplishment. Again no one wanted to see this fight, this match up was POINTLESS.

People are quick to jump on a fighter when they dont make weight or dont produce in the ring and quick to give a fighter an excuse for loosing. Now that its said and done TOO MANY haters want to discredit Pac when all the man did was HIS JOB and train hard for this fight.

Oscar Delahoya got a BEATDOWN. End of Story and end of discussion, close this thread. ITS OVER ALREADY.
