If Joe Calzaghe was American and black, would he be better respected?

Crawl back up Joe's colon and finish your dinner..lol
I don't see anybody on Joe's resume giving Black fighters any trouble.
I don't see Kessler beating up on any Brothers..hell..that SOFT mofo ducked Edison Miranda..hahaha
I don't see Peter Manredo wreaking havoc in the Black camp either.
Jeff Lacy just got beat-down by Taylor.
I don't see anybody on Joe's resume doing ****.
Dawson beat Adamek now Tomaz is Cruiserweight Champion.Comment

Miranda? LOL!
Jeff Lacy (brotha) was destroyed and ruined by Calzaghe, physically, emotionally, and mentally. The Jeff Lacy that fought Calzaghe can mop the floor with Taylor.
Chad who? The kid that struggled to beat a senior citizen? Is that who you talking about?!Comment

Floyd still fought Judah,
after Zab lost his championship,
that is no different than any elimination bout, pre-signed or not.
You're using a terrible angle here because many boxers, of all ethnicities have fought fighters coming off of losses.Comment

I have NO DOUBTS that Calzaghe would be more respected if he were an African-American. No matter how talented a white fighter is or how many dominate their divisions there still remains a stereotype in America that blacks are superior athletes. That's why you'll see "white hope" said and movies like "The Great White Hype and White Men Can't Jump" without any criticism about those being racist. If a movie was called "Black Men Can't Skate" it would never get released and it would be deemed racist by all. There's a clear racial double standard in America, the UK, as well as several other EU countries now, unfortunately...Comment

Take soccer for example (most popular sport), in Europe (not sure about UK) they always joke about them because they're the ones that fold in critical matches.Comment
