Can Floyd Mayweather be considered a HOF'er and ATG?

If Floyd Mayweather never fights again how would you rate his legacy?

To me he's a sure Hall-of-Famer (HOF'er) who falls short of All-Time-Greatness (ATG). That's primarily due to him retiring in his prime when dangerous challengers were looming in the horizon.

I consider him a first ballot HOFer but not an ATG.

Top 25 to 40 all time. I put him one step below the Fab 4 in accomplishment, which is no shame.

Mayweather will go into the hall of fame but I would not consider him an all-time great.

Of course there is no clear definition of ATG so I would not object if people were to consider him as such but I myself only rate the best of the best as all-time greats, since to me that term means that you're not only one of the best of your time or your division but of any division, at any time.

Mayweather is one of the great 130 lbers who found success even while moving up in weight but I would not rate him among the likes of Robinson, Armstrong, Ali, Leonard... His resume is not strong enough.

Top 25-40? Seriously? And how on earth is he only one step below the Fab 4 in accomplishment. SRL has wins over Benitez, Duran, Hearns and Hagler. Mayweather doesn't come close when considering accomplishments

Are we talking Top 50 ATG or Top 100 ATG?

Mayweaher is an ATG Top 20, it's just these forums he is bashed on because it's dominated by racist Mexican and many white supremacists.

Mayweather is undefeated at 5 weight classes. Fought the best at 130,135,147 and 154. All were ranked as ring number one at the time. Most of his fights, pretty much all. Mayweather is the smaller guy yet still wins. The greatest 130 fighter of all time. Without doubt the most skilled boxer of all time

It's so sad that one of the best fighters I've ever seen cannot be considered an ATG.
