Settle down killers
You are freakin extremists. The Duddy fight is a dud, but that boy Pavlik was roughed up. Arum, Loeweand Pavlik know that Abraham is his biggest challenge and there are no gaurentees. That fight could go either way. To have any chance against AA, Pav needs to lay out a few bums and get his Mojo back. Imagine he lost the titles, he would be doing that anyway and would not have the option of the biggest fight north of Welter. Mentally he has no shot until he gets a few under his belt. I think it will happen just not in early 09.If you were already a millionaire, which Pavlik is, you would rather cash in your chips by fighting easy fights to make slightly more money, rather than build a legacy that could get you in the hall of fame? As a boxing fan I find that attitude strange - and it's terrible for the long term health of the sport.Comment

Abraham will KO Pavlik...
Pavlik seems to know it, his trainer seems to know it... and worse his promoter Bob Arum seems to ADMIT it.Comment

Nonsense. If he had a serious injury he would have postponed the fight!Do you really, honestly think that a fighter or anyone in his camp is going to say, in a pre-fight interview, that he has a serious injury that could affect his performance in the ring? Really? Are you that foolish? It was a serious injury that affected not only Pavlik's training but also his performance of course it was downplayed going into the fight.
Loew just couldn't admit Pavlik lost to a better fighter. He lies to cover up the more unpleasant truth - like his being afraid Kelly will be KOed by Abraham.Comment

Serious enough to disrupt his training schedule, most notably his heavy sparring weeks. I would say that's a pretty serious injury. That's straight from inside the Pavlik camp pal, keep spouting off your assumptions though.Comment
