See your answer makes no sense, It wasn't germans, it was ****s, yet englishmen from 1000's of years ago = englishmen now.

Basically the answer is that these haters are pathetic and have no logical reason for thier distasteful views of fellow countrymen

this life is bigger than just wales and England. i see the second world war as a fight against evil fascism. A fight against ****s not Germans. Countries had little relevance in my eyes.

I would not say there is a genuine hatred, it is more to do with sporting rivalry. i am in university and have met many English. Some of which are friends, I have no problem with England I just don't like seeing them do well in football or rugby

It killed me when your 16 men won at the weekend if onlt because the celt have bragging right for another year and I had to buy my welsh mate beers all night on monday.

first off calling the English and Welsh fellow country men is like calling Germans and French fellow country men. Two separate nations.

If you read what i wrote it is a sporting rivalry. Many do not know of the history of their own countries in the last 20 years let alone 1000 years.

Why is it that with your fighters if they are from England they are British, but if they are from Wales they are Welsh?

I am half Welsh and half English but I always refer to myself as British, and I do the same with Ricky Hatton and Lennox Lewis.

Frank Bruno often used to wear a British flag when he entered the ring - never an English flag.

Im English and lived in Cardiff for four years where I found the Welsh interesting, friendly people. Unless they were playing in a game of rugby, whereby i was confronted with a load of **** about being English and how much we English owe to Wales for past evils. Most of these people didn't have a clue what to say when I asked them to explain to me what these evils were because they were just riding on a wave of misdirected and ill-informed collective hatred.

Hundreds of thousands of our men and women have died along side each other fighting for the same flag.

I am proud of my Welsh heritage, but to say that England and Wales are not a part of the United Kingdom (one nation) is ludicrous.

Yeh a sporting rivialry is cool totally different thing to actually hating someone cause your welsh and there English..

takes forever to drive there but had some good times down there
