How do you know he was shot i seen the fight and Mormeck was doing a great job of covering up and then working the body, I have seen about 7-8 mormeck fights and he looked almost at his best imo.

      This is disgraceful bait.
A punch behind the ears is illegal, and is known as a "rabbit punch".

Max Baer once killed a man called Campbell in the ring with a rabbit punch. McLellan has permanent brain damage from the rabbit punches he received from Benn.

Similarly, Wladimir Klitschko has three belts at heavyweight (IBF, WBO and IBO) but he's not the undisputed champion.

David Haye didn't have a single successful title defense at cruiserweight. He did unify, by defeating old past-prime Mormeck, who knocked him down, and he beat the china-chinned tomato can Maccarinelli.

But Haye never fought the best cruiserweights:

          1) Steve Cunningham,

          2) the iron-chinned Firat Arslan who wouldn't have gone down from Haye's punches the way the pathetic Maccarinelli did, and would have stopped Haye when the loud-mouth gassed,

          3) the hard-punching Guillermo Jones who would have knocked him out cold.

          4) or Tomasz Adamek, who would have undoubtably defeated Haye by KO.

Do you feel better now that you have that off your chest?

All that can be said is that Haye could have done a better job of cleaning out the cruiserweight division. Assuming of course that Cunningham, Adamek and the rest would face him in the ring. Some fights can't be made.

He didn't have all the belts, but he beat Mormeck for the linear undisputed title. And he added the WBO belt too.

                  The IBO belt doesn't count.

Haye was struggling to make 200lbs, he said he had to lose 20lbs everytime he fought at Cruiser and lookign at Haye he most likely had to lose muscle rather than fat.

                  1. Cunningham He had fought Huck and some guys name I can't spell for the Vacant belt.

                  2. Adamek would have been slaughted by Haye, Adamek was beaten every round bar one against Dawson. Haye who hits harder and is just as fast would beat him, not to mention Adamek was moving up to Cruiser and just beat a past it O'neill Bell and hadn't done anything at 200lbs.

Jones and Arslan are prospects, Haye always stated he was going to move up to Heavyweight.

Thats the most moranic statement i've heard today. Haye hit him in the side of the head and he went down, Mormeck didn't complain at all.

It was not a rabbit punch and there were no warnings for rabbit punches earlier so it's not like he fouled at all.

Haye was the champ Cunningham a run of the mill title holder who got a vacated belt.

                      Haye totally destroys Cunningham.
