I agree that stats (in this case, size) aren't the only thing to go by. If they were, Ali would have never beaten Foreman.

What's important more than anything is speed and skill. Mental strength also plays a big part.

I think Cotto wins because he is physically stronger he's as strong a WW as their is right now but i think people dont give Pac a chance just because of the weight he started and i think thats underestimating Pac. I honestly think that Pac's best weight is probably around junior welterweight cause of the body shape and the way he is able to carry the weight up. people have to remember he had to starve himself to make flyweight and ever since then he has gotten noticeably bigger with absolute no problem! pac's speed and unorthadox style would Cotto a lot of trouble and just like didnt try to trade shots an old DLH he wont underestimate a prime Cotto by trying to trade shots with him. i think you would see a great in/out attack that would frustrate Cotto. I actually would be tempted to pick Pac by decision but at the end of the day i think Cotto would find a way to put enough pressure on him where he can weaken him for a 11th rd KO. This would be a great fight IMO though... dont underestimate Pac!

Cotto has skill, speed, strength and the weight advantage. He can adjust and also comes forward and could wear down Pac late with bodyshot.

i think everyone in here forgets pacquiao hasnt fought at 126 since 2007, its ****ing 2009 guys, EVERY FIGHT in 2008 pacquiao weighed in at 147 or higher, no matter what division it was in. if he fought cotto at 147 he still would have his power, and def has a chin and def wayyy faster than cotto and more stamina, everyone needs to relax it would be a good fight tho but no way pacquiao gets killed[
