Juarez has proven to be a one-hit wonder (and it was a loss to Barrera).

Not being a negative Nancy, but the names themselves are not the whole story...

Trinidad is 5-0 against undefeated fighters, some of them being excellent fighters. Vargas, Reid, Carr, Campas, De La Hoya (bad decision, but it was still close),

Beat Blocker and Joppy up, for some very underrated wins.

Beat the oldies, but goodies, down in Camacho and Whitaker.

Trinidad has a pretty rockin' resume.
are you just going by who they beat as their resume or everyone they fought?

if you're talking about just wins then maybe i can see why you'd pick tito.

but if by resume you're talking about everyone they fought......barrera takes it imo.

i'm sorry but jumping to 126 and beating hamed who was dominant at 126 trumps jumping to 154 and beating vargas and reid.

jumping to 130 and beating morales who was the man at 130 also trumps beating joppy at 160.

Resume implies wins and losses I thought...

Resume just means body of work, and career as a whole being judged.

The Hamed win is just f'ing huge, but... unification at 147 over Blocker and ODLH, unification at 154 over Reid and Vargas are pretty big, and those are just the fights were they said "AND NEW!"...

His defenses were against great fighters too.

I always thought a fighters resume was their wins..... and that their level of competition was who they fought, win or lose ??

Level of competition is just who you fight, regardless of result. Emmanuel Augustus... excellent level of competition... resume, not so much.

Resume is mostly based on wins, but... bad losses can really **** your resume up. I can't imagine how huge Trinidad's resume would be if he had retired after Joppy.

Tito's resume is still very good even now, His losses to Hopkins and Wright were one sided but they were very skilled fighters that were naturally bigger than him, His loss to Jones was because Jones was way bigger than him and Tito hadn't fought in years, Even though Jones is past it he is still a skilled fighter.

Close, but I voted Barrera, only because prime Trinidad's win over Dela Hoya could be argued as a loss.
