    Who has the better resume?

    Felix Trinidad

    OR

    Marco Antonio Barrera

I wish I could limit the poll to just those who aren't from either of the two countries, because this rivalry runs deep, and I have a hard time believing anyone is going to be crossing over on this one.

In terms of wins and overall quality of performance, I'm going to have to go with Barrera. In terms of opposition faced, about even.

          5-1 tito?

          doesn't make sense to me.

          pacquiao , morales , marquez , tapia , hamed , kennedy , agapito , kelley , ayala , peden , juarez......

          think about it.

5 fights against ATG's just against pacquiao and morales.

Well right, but he won like 2 rounds in between the 2 Pacquiao fights...

Tapia and Ayala were 2 to 3 weight classes above their best when Barrera got to them.

Juarez has proven to be a one-hit wonder (and it was a loss to Barrera).

Not being a negative Nancy, but the names themselves are not the whole story...

Trinidad is 5-0 against undefeated fighters, some of them being excellent fighters. Vargas, Reid, Carr, Campas, De La Hoya (bad decision, but it was still close),

Beat Blocker and Joppy up, for some very underrated wins.

Beat the oldies, but goodies, down in Camacho and Whitaker.

Trinidad has a pretty rockin' resume.
