Shouldn't Calzaque be considered a better fighter than mayweather?

Cotto isn't a draw, On top of being largely unproven still.
Pacquiao was a Jr. Lightweight still and no one figured he'd ever go to Welterweight
Shane Mosley was considered to be shot.

Why did Mosley say no to Floyd when Mayweather offered him a fight a while back ago.

Cotto and Arum said no to Mayweather at 140, because he was not ready

Pacman??? When was Mayweather and Pacman ever in the same weight division

      Learn your facts please

        Should have fought Cotto.

        Tried to fight Mosley.

Nobody would have thought Pac could fight at 140/147 before the De la hoya fight so I don't understand how he was ducked.

Mosley, they took turns avoiding each other (imo)
          Cotto, fair enough
Pacman, it is tough to duck someone who was never within 3 weightclasses of you (during any years which they both fought)

Got outweighed most of the time, sometimes even by 16 pounds

Yet took less risk than Calzaghe
please, at super feather, lightweight, and even junior welterweight he's bigger then most of the guys. Moving up to fight an aging oscar isnt impressive. Shamba Mitchell and Carlos Baldomir....wow what a risk at welter. I give him some credit for Hatton, but he would of got more credit beating him at 140. And i was mainly talking fighting style. You cant tell me the mans not safety first. The man never engages first and is boring at the end of the day.

              Calzaghe's best wins are:

Kessler: an Unproven boxer in a really poor weight-division, and with no significant wins on his record.

Lacy: An Over-rated and Over-Hyped boxer. Had he gone on to unify the division after Calzaghe moved up, fair enough, but i dont think he won another belt. In fact last i heard he was schooled silly by Taylor.

              __

Sorry, but that is not an impressive record.

As Floyd moved up yea he fought more cautious, 140 and below he beat the **** out of a lot of fighters though, and did not fight nearly as defensively. 147 154 he fought with a very defensive game plan except against Zab and Hatton (well and Sharmba, but you don't have a lot of respect for that win it seems).

That's his fighting style. Because that's the point of boxing, hit and don't get hit. He's easily one of the most gifted fighters of all time and he's shown his brilliance in almost every fight he's been in. It doesn't matter if you consider him boring just because he doesn't risk long term brain damage. He whooped every opponent he's gone against.

It's not like he was fighting european nobodies, shot old men, and unproven fighters his entire career.

                      Lets see.

                      Compare Mayweather and Corrales

Lightweight he was outweighted by Castillo and Ndou and other

Gatti outweighed Mayweather at Jr WW

WW Baldomir Hatton Judah all outweighed Floyd

Mayweather is a defensive fighter, the purpose is not to get hit
