Shouldn't Calzaque be considered a better fighter than mayweather?

Joe Calzaghe hung his hat on his career with a win over a shot Roy Jones Jr. Not a Hopkins rematch, not even a long overdue Glen Johnson bout. I'll throw in a "pass" on Dawson just to illustrate how bad the above looks for his legacy.

Floyd hung his on a 43 - 0 Hatton (who beat THE MAN in his weight class) who many felt was going to KO Jr. based on his body punching power display in his previous fight.. and that really is all that needs to be said about the difference between the two.

    Who didn't take risks again?

This is one of the most naive views ever put forward. Get some perspective.

Joe has faced better opposition. Yes, Joe did face the past-prime Roy Jones, but Floyd's resume is full of shot fighters like Genaro Hernandez and Oscar De La Hoya. And Floyd fought them in his 20s, not at age 37 when Joe fought Roy.

Joe fought some hand-picked opponents it's true, but Mayweather's resume has people like Jesus Chavez (1-13)!
oh tunney just **** off you ****** ****, everyone knows why you like calzaghe more than floyd you racist piece of ****

              joe faced better opposition, lmao

oh so oscar was shot vs mayweather? he didnt look too shot to me, did quite well establishing his jab and pressuring floyd until he slipped off and let his guard open and didnt throw much in the later rounds

              anyway, you're ******ed

3 Oscar - OLD, well past prime
4 Hatton - past his best because he faded in the later rounds (declined after Tszyu) Floyd had referee's help
5 Genaro Hernadez - had been great in the early 90s, but a shot OLD fighter, his last fight
6 Zab - very limited fighter
7 Jesus Chavez - record of 1-13 when he fought Floyd

                http://www.boxrec.com/list_bouts.php...4761&cat=boxer

8 Carlos Hernadez - good but not an elite fighter
9 Baldomir - limited and old, not a strong puncher
10 Gatti - shot OLD fighter
11 Manfready - good but not world-class level fighter
12 DeMarcus Corley - decent but not world-class level fighter
13 Gregario Vargas - limited opponent
                14 Philip N'Dou - very limited opponent
15 Sharmba Mitchell - Tszyu handled him more easily TWICE, stopped a year younger version of Mitchell in the 3rd
corrales was not B+ level you ****, what the hell were kessler and lacy then? they werent half the fighters chico was. very ignorant, chico was most definitely an elite fighter, floyd just made him look like a B level fighter

JLC again, elite fighter, had an excellent run at 135, didnt beat floyd, close fight where floyd hurt his shoulder, beaten soundly in rematch

oscar was past prime yeah, but still a decent fighter, plus he was at a weight he was comfortable at

yeah im not going to bother with the rest, you're a joke
