You can spout off one-liners about who won a fight, but unless you have the facts to back it up, your opinion lacks validity. Anyone can say they watched a fight 5 or 6 times~ over the internet~.

I have never seen anyone explain why JLC won in detail, I have gone into detail about why I thought Floyd won, and all I see in return is baseless talk.

About 85% of this forum does not know how to score a fight. About 90% have not been fans of the sport since before that fight (or were even fans at the time, I won money on Mayweather-JLC 1).

Why would I care what this group of people thinks?

Oh and when you do a poll about this fight it is anywhere from 35-40 for Mayweather and 60 65 for JLC, every time. 35 40% is not a small percent of the population, btw~.

I had it 114-113 to Castillo. I personally don't think Mayweather did enough to win (somebody else mentioned ineffective jabs to the body?!), but it was a very close decision and therefore could have gone either way.

I am not being biased here whatsoever... but I think it was closer than people thought... after seeing it I thought it was a very close and scrappy fight, which could have gone either way. Either way, yeah Mayweather might have been a little bit fortunate in that fight... though I do stand by my decision that it was closer than people claim due to how scrappy it was.

However Mayweather did have I think it was a 'Torn Rotator Cuff' on his left shoulder which was giving him grief all night which probably didn't help him pull the trigger (not making any excuses... hence why he kept changing to southpaw).

Either way, in my opinion (some may have different views) it looked very close due to its scrappyness... I thought the judges and HBO had it wrong scoring either fighter so clearly ahead, as I thought it could have gone either way.

Though you must admit Floyd did the right thing in realizing he was a little fortunate in the first fight and fairly gave him a second shot to set things straight... were he won decisively.

The guy who mentioned ineffective jabs to the body, gave mayweather 4 outta the 1st 6 rounds. (then i think he changed his mind and decided it was 3 rounds all).

Just off topic quickly, how did you score calzaghe-hopkins?

                      1. Mayweather backed off and threw far too many ineffective punches for my liking in that fight. And Castillo came on very strong in the 2nd half of the fight.

                      2. Either 115-112 or 114-113 to Calzaghe.
