Haye vs. Barrett was NOT an eliminator.

The age 36 fringe contender was a hand-picked opponent - someone Haye thought he could beat.

Haye first turned down Tony Thompson, Eddie Chambers and even the feather-fisted Kevin Johnson.

lol at this stage in his career Barrett isn't even a top 50 heavyweight I doubt....

Don't let the fields win fool you. Fields was appalling (Forgive me lord...)

I thought the idea of the fight from Wlad's point of view was exposure to a new market (aside from the gay population, and wannabe Russians living in BC), i doubt no one knows who he is in the UK, dispatching Haye would make him big news in sporting circles. However, i am starting to question just how much Haye wants this fight; it's the chance of a lifetime I hope it doesn't disappear through sheer stubbornness.

lol she ain't no lady, calling people "jealous cum buckets", i guess she didn't attend finishing school with such a potty mouth. The Klitschko's would be disappointed in such profanity.

Who are you to say what the Klitschkos would be disappointed in? You've been their worst hater on boxingscene for years.

In fact, over 90% of your posts are expressing hate for the Klitschkos and their fans. You don't seem to have an interest in boxing, you're only into hating the world's two best heavyweights and the people who like them.

Boxrec makes mistakes sometimes, it's very good but not 100% reliable.

It was not an eliminator. JC Gomez is the WBC mandatory, Maskaev is next in line, and McCline not Haye won a fight to be in the next WBC eliminator.

Haye is currently ranked #4 by the WBC.

Barrett was younger when he fought those guys, he's 37 now. He lost to Mesi, Whitaker and Rahman, and was badly beaten up by Wladimir and Valuev.

Later, in 2007, Barrett was KOed by Cliff Couser, who's not even a top 250 heavyweight. Barrett's the only well-known fighter Couser's ever beaten.
