I don't know about a match-up and I don't think we can know. Hatton has achieved far more than Pavlik and this is coming from someone who doesn't like Hatton. If you seriously think Pavlik has done more then you don't know boxing.

Pavlik has an excellent resume for a relatively short career thus far. The only two significant victories on his resume are the Taylor fights though. Miranda has and always will be a terrible fighter who has got far on power alone.
as a scalp for the resume Miranda is roughly on equal standings to the likes of Maussa, Urango, Lazcano, Malignaggi. (in fact i'd say it's a better win than all of them but Malignaggi)

I believe when all's said and done, provided Hatton doesn't somehow beat Pacman, Pavlik will have the better resume... He's well on his way now and he's still young

Oh I agree that Pavlik will eventually have a better resume provided Mayweather Sr doesn't work a miracle with Hatton. Miranda might be roughly on equal standings with Maussa, Urango and Lazcano, but unlike two of them he wasn't a champion when Pavlik fought him and never has been a champion. I personally think he never will be. I've never liked or rated him as a fighter.

The only way I can see Pavlik matching Hatton's resume is if he manages to beat Abraham and then Taylor grabs a belt from Froch at Super Middleweight to set up a trilogy fight between the two again. Even after all that I still think Ricky would have a better resume IMO.

if he beats Abraham (which i strongly favour him to do so) i think he'll only need one or two more big names and Hatton is surpassed resume-wise

Hatton's resume really isn't great for a fighter so highly lauded, and Pavlik appears to be interested in fighting the best at every possible opportunity (Rubio fight aside)... Provided his career isn't cut short by another devastating loss or whatever, he'll rack up enough scalps imo

Hopefully Arum has the same ambitions as Pavlik and doesn't protect him after that devastating loss to Popkins....

I think it's quite clear to anyone with EYES that Hatton actually has a better skillset than Moby and is underrated as far as skills go.

The average Fat Yank on here likes to think he's 100% wrestling, but there's a BIT more to his work than that and he's deceptively clever at times.

When Hatton faced the P4P No.1 fighter in the world he was able to use feints, speed and footwork to land a flush jab on him in the first round, and make four of the next five rounds competitive.

Moby, on the other hand, when facing a top 10 P4P fighter couldn't win a round and looked like ****.

The funniest thing is, out of the two the Paler has more of a Fat Yank fighting style.
