I like him and all, he's fun to watch also BUT I have a feeling he might go the Vargas route.
Who here thinks Angulo is way overhyped?

Angulo is no Margarito, he is one dimensional and I suspect when he is put in with some class we will see this, but his trainers should continue to bring him along slowly introducing him to different styles and gettting him a lot of experience before truly stepping him up. I think it was a blessing in disguise that he wasnt put on against Mayorga too early. He is lucky thought to have a division that has thus far not much depth.Comment

I doubt anyone that fights toe to toe, with Forrest, Trinidad, DLH, Vargas and Mosley is scared of Angulo.Comment

agreed... Mayorga isn't scared... he takes his ass whooping like a man...Comment

But for what Angulo is, he can get the job done at 154. I don't think he's as slow as some make him out to be, lol I think thats obvious. He has some short fast and hard shots when he lets his hands rip, and I don't think anyone at 154 would ever be a blow out favorite against him. He gives em all a fight that he can win.Comment

Nah, Vargas had kneck injuries and weight problems. I don't see Angulo or anyone gettin the injuries Vargas had and I definitely dont see Angulo losing discipline.

I hope he can. If one of his fights were to be on PPV right now, I would buy it in a heartbeat. That's how much I like seeing him fight.
I hope he fights Chavez Jr one day and beats the crap out of him.Comment
