left hook tua is right, i always say that mcgirt gets too much blame for the short comings of his crappy fighters.....i did hate how he stopped maligaggi though.....
What's Buddy McGirt's training record?

really?
didn't know that.
so how many times did tomasz beat chad dawson without mcgirt in his corner?
how many fights has tomasz won at 175 since he left buddy?Comment

I would say going up 25 pounds to cruiserweight, beating the living hell out of Bell and Cunningham and becoming the consensus #1 guy in the division is better than anything a McGirt fighter has accomplished in recent memory.Comment

if you look at malignaggi and his lack of punching power and other deficiencies......wouldn't you say he's gone higher than he should have?
tarver's milk dud ass could have done better in his career?
buddy helps fighters be as good as they can.
i laugh when people say things like , "with buddy in his corner adamek got embarassed by dawson. after leaving buddy , adamek has looked good."
lmfao
it was chad dawson! of course adamek would look better against no name cruiserweights than arguably the #1 175 fighter right now.Comment

maybe adamek was cutting too much weight? hurting himself at 175?
maybe chad fucking dawson is better than fucking adamek or bell or cunningham?
ever think of that?Comment

Yeah I did dip****, and you are ******ed referring to World Champions like Bell and Cunningham as "no names"
I can name a guy who never won a world title, David Tua.Comment

Adamek outgrew the division. He was drained and couldn't deal with Dawson's speed until later in the fight and only in short bursts.
Adamek is now in a more natural division. You can't blame that on Buddy.
And even if you did, some great trainers and fighters don't mesh well together.
It doesn't mean either is bad, just not good for each other.
I think Buddy has solid boxing knowledge and definitely looks out for the well being of his fighters.Comment
