He would only have to go down 7 pounds to get to 140 and 12 to get to LW. I know its not that simple in boxing but Im saying that Floyd can do that. Basically Im saying that to me its like If Margarito was fighting at MW and only coming into the ring at 165 pounds. You would then swear that he couldnt go any lower but he obviously can. Look at Williams and how skinny he still looks at 154 or MW but he can still go down to WW whenever he wants. I mean RJ had pure muscle at HW and fought Tito at 168 after he had been at 175 for a hundred years
roy is a prime example of why you shouldnt go down in weight

Look man, its all good. I know your a true Floyd fan like me but I have always said that not only is Floyd P4P the best fighter in boxing, he's also P4P the smallest guy in boxing. He's the only guy who now fights near his walk around weight. Ever since he left 130 he's basicaly been the smallest guy at every single division he's been at. Castillo made him look like a little boy and a little while later Floyd was fighting at 140 and about to go to 147 while Castillo was still fighting at 130 and yet if you ask most people, they would tell you that Castill is still naturally the bigger man. Since he left 130 he has always moved up unaturaly. My point is that I dont think he gained muscle as much as he just maintained his natural walk around weight. He has muscles no doubt but I dont think he's some kind of rock. I dont even think he's naturaly a bigger guy then Pac and I bet you think that he could still fight at LW if he had to.

Basicaly Im saying that Floyd is right now actually at his max weight. Its like if Cotto & Margarito were fighting at there walk aound weight and fighthing at LHW or something. If they trained then they could obviously lose the weight. If you yourself went into a die hard boxing camp for a couple of months right now you could lose 15 pounds easily. Your saying it like Floyd is basicaly at his miniumum and Im saying it like he's at his max. This is his weight before he would even go into training is my point and if he wanted to actually lose weight then I think he could lose it with no problem. Now Im not saying he would just go down to 135 without trouble but he could get there and feel comfortable there if you ask me. I was just saying a couple of weeks ago that I still think right at this moment that his natural fighting weight would be 137.5

I think he's halfway between a LW and a 140 pounder. Just watch him in the ring and then put on the Malignaggi-N'Godgu fight. He looks easily smaller then those guys. If he went back to 140 right now there would be alot of guys who looked bigger then him in the ring. I think 137.5 is his natrual weight right now. That is the weight I think you would see the best Floyd Mayweather and where he would be nearly impossible to beat if someone tried to fight him there right now. Youre not going to convince me that even 140 would be his natrual weight. I mean everyone still says that he's not a real WW, right? So how are you guys going to say that he cant go back down to 140 anymore when its so obvious that he's not like any of the other WW's. He's not even close. He's basically just like Zab who everyone thinks should go back down in weight

The Roy thing was different. He went all the way to 200 pounds and came all the way back down in a few months. Floyd wouldnt be doing that. My point about Roy is that even after all that, years later he still beat Tito at 168 and looked pretty solid at that weight
