Would You Be OK If Floyd Did This?

Lets say that Pac beats Hatton and Floyd goes down to 140 and beats Pac. Would you then be ok if Floyd went back down the LW and had fights with guys like JMM, Valero, Khan, Diaz, and whoever? Would you be ok if he just stayed at 140 and alot of those guys came there? I think 140 is about to be the new hot division because Bradley looks good, Hatton is still Hatton, Pac is there now, Zab is going back there, and then you have all the little guys acting like they are about to move up. Roach said Khan will soon be there, some say Valero will soon be there, JMM may go there to fight Pac, Cambell & Guzman recently failed to make weight, Diaz is a huge guy, and s on. I think 140 will be huge in a year or 2.

Would you be ok if Floyd stayed at 140 to fight those guys or even move down to LW. Do you think that it would prove nothing if he beat those guys at LW or do you think it would show how special he is if he one a fight at 154, beat alot of guys at WW, hadnt been at LW for years, and still went back down to beat the top guys. How would you judge or look at that?

I definatly beleive he would go down. Its not like he's Margarito or anything. Dude comes into the ring at 148 for most of his fights. I bet anything that if Pac stayed at LW and said that he would fight Floyd only if he came down to LW then Floyd would be there, without a doubt. The only reason why I think he would hesitate to go down in weight is that he still has some good fights at WW and it would hurt him to go back down and come back up because he just isnt that big in the 1st place so it may really throw off his little bit of weight that he has built up at WW

floyd's not going to fight pac at 140, at minimum floyd might go for a catchweight at 145-144 lbs.

floyd cant make 135 lbs without hurting himself.

he;s not all muscle at all. He's just a thin fighter so it looks like he's all muscle. Its not like he has that same body and comes into the ring at 162 like the other WW's. Then it would be all muscle and hard for him to do but not that skinny frame that he comes into the ring with now. I do admit that he looked bigger in the Hatton fight compared to his other WW fights but I still dont think he's a big cat and that its hard for him to go down in weight.

People make it sound like he had 20 fights at LW and he had to move up because he couldnt make weight anymore. He only had 4 fights at that weight and he never came in at 140 one single time. He's a little dude

I very much doubt PBF will ever get back in the ring to fight anybody.

I think Floyd will want to fight him at a catch weight because of what I wrote in that last pargaraph of the opening thread that I dont think you read. The biggest thing is that Roach & Pac are idiots for already saying that they would fight him at a catch weight. If they demanded that the fight be at 140 or no fight then Floyd would definatly come down and it wouldnt be too hard. It would only hurt him if he wanted to then go back to WW

Why do you guys care so much about what people think of Floyd? Constantly making threads with titles like "Would you respect Floyd more if" or "Why does every hate Floyd, its not fair" does nothing for Floyd. All it does is confirm that there IS a general or at least MAJORITY consensus that Floyd's career isn't as legendary or epic some fan boys would like it to be.
