I totally disagree. You guys are seriously overrating his size. He's a small dude. Basically, he is the only guy in boxing that is fighting at his actual walk-around weight. It wasnt that long ago that people were saying that he never weighed a 150 pounds in his life. When he fought Oscar, they made him sign a contract saying that he had to weigh-in at atleast a 150 pounds. Every other guy in boxing goes up to like 180 and comes down to 147. Look at what Paul Williams is doing. Floyd would only have to lose like 15 pounds. He can do it in his sleep. It would be just like a natural fighting thing for him to go down in weight.

He's actually managing his weight now or atleast he was when he was fighting. He has to do things to make sure that he doesnt lose weight. He weighed 139 for all his LW fights and 144 for all his 140 pound fights and he's 148 for mostly all of his WW fights. He's not big. He can do down definatly to 140 and I bet he can got to 135 for the right fight. Honestly, I seriously think that if he beats Pac and JMM said that he will fight Floyd but cant go past 138, that Floyd would go there and fight him.

I mean if your a real Floyd fan then just go look at his fights with Zab & Baldy. He's a flat board compared to all the other WW's. He's never been big. He's maintaining his weight on purpose. He can go down like all the other regular fighters do

Shadowboxer, you beleive everything you hear. Roger always says ****** things. He moved up after the Gatti fight where he came into the ring at 144 pounds. There is no way that he couldnt make 140 anymore, clown. He moved up because he wanted to chase the big money Oscar fight. Thats the same reason why he left LW quick. Everyone knows that. Youre the one who doesnt know boxing. How can he not make LW anymore when he only had 4 fights there and how could he not make 140 anymore when he only had 3 fights there. You mean to tell me that this guy went from fighting at 130 to having to jump that quickly to WW? Your a fool if you think that, e****ally when his weight clearly tells you the exact opposite. He's not like these other guys who are gaing 15 pounds after the weigh-in. Those are the guys who always have to move up. He gains basically nothing ever since he left 130. Know your boxing before you talk ****

you sir are an idiot. it doesnt matter how many fights u hav at a certain weight, the fact is as u get older ur body naturally fills out. thats why boxers move up in weight as they get older. floyd is 32, thats not old but its not 25 either. floyd hasnt fought at 140 in 4 yrs. look what happen to oscar when he tried to come back down to welter. he was drained and he got destroyed. you hav much to learn about boxing grasshopper

if you want to say that he cant go down now like larryx then thats fine because as of right now its just an opinion but you said that he had to move up from 140 when he did because he couldnt make weight anymore. Thats a huge difference and if you think that then your a fool. I know a ton about boxing and Floyd's career. When he was at LW he was trying super hard then to get the Oscar fight because he wasnt getting any big money fight and he hadnt been on PPV one single time. Thats why he started jumping weight so much. You can bet the world that if Oscar was a LW then Floyd wouldve never moved up.

Also, your a fool for comparing Floyd to Oscar. Oscar is 5'11 and was always a bigger guy. Before they fought eachother there was a great article on here where a guy was comparing the size of the 2 fighters because people tried to say that they were similar since they both fought at LW but the writer said that was crazy and had a ton of facts to prove how Oscar was always a bigger fighter. Oscar really did have to move up in weight, and was actualy fighting at MW at one point. He hadnt been at WW for a million years and was huge when he left WW. Its totally different then Floyd's situation

Dude, I know what you are saying but your looking at it the complete opposite way of me. My point is that he can easily lose weight and he's actually doing everything he can to maintain his weigh so that he can fight at WW. You make it sound like weight classes are 20 pounds apart. He would only have to go down 7 pounds to get to 140 and 12 to get to LW. I know its not that simple in boxing but Im saying that Floyd can do that. Basically Im saying that to me its like If Margarito was fighting at MW and only coming into the ring at 165 pounds. You would then swear that he couldnt go any lower but he obviously can. Look at Williams and how skinny he still looks at 154 or MW but he can still go down to WW whenever he wants. I mean RJ had pure muscle at HW and fought Tito at 168 after he had been at 175 for a hundred years

floyd did move up in weight to chase oscar..very true...but once you move up..you dont go back down..cause you gain muscle to gain weight and losing muscle is bad bad bad
