hold up kid. he didnt make the weight but he still fighting. so he is still getting paid and his opponent is getting paid unlike guzman he didnt fight. so nate didnt get paidComment

This is what I said. Having to crash and lose additional weight affects you mentally just as much as physically. He probably didn't think he'd have a great chance to win and pulled out the fight.Comment

My theory is that his confidence was compromised by the weight issues and he didn't want to risk his 0. Still, pulling out the day of is not cool.

Same thing I said. Only that to me, it was due to his conditionComment

Anyway, I can see Nate beating Paulie, Witter, D-Hop. Not sure about Torres, Holt, Hatton but I'm sure it'd be competitive.Comment

don't know about him. Nate isn't a big guy really for 135 and witter has been there for how long? Paulie, well, he was beaten by Cotto and by hatton. both are MUCH stronger than he is. However he might be damaged goods by now but i honestly think it won't be easy to campaign in 140Comment

Im just upset because I like Nate alot and I hate to see him lose those belts. With them he had a hard time getting good fights, just think without them it will be even harder, too much risk, too little reward is what opponents will be thinking. Stay up Nate, win this one for us all, we are with you.Last edited by Bhopreign; 02-13-2009, 09:11 PM.Comment
