anyway, I hope Nate is well and he doesn't get hurt.
        being dehydrated is a *****.
For real, if you sit in a sauna for 2 hours trying to sweat off weight and only a pound comes off, that must have been a terrible way to spend two hours.

With these weight issues, who knows what to expect tomorrow.

I understand that but Guzman ain't the type to pull something like that. He was even willin to fight Nate for free, without gettin paid. To me, Guzman knew he was in no condition to fight and he did the right thing

You can either believe he was too scared or he was no condition

Ok but how ironic is it to talk about another guy making weight when your fighter doesnt.

I don't know Guzman personally so I don't know what type he is so I can't comment.

My theory is that his confidence was compromised by the weight issues and he didn't want to risk his 0. Still, pulling out the day of is not cool.

No he wasnt. His people from Sycuan took him to the hospital simply to rehydrate with an IV, because its quicker than just drinking fluids. He was cleared to fight by the commission doctor.

Then we'll have to agree to disagree. Guzman would have never faced Barrios or Soto if he didn't want to risk his 0.

I wasn't aware that he had missed weight for the Soto and Barrios fights.
