    Bob Arum Wrong

Im a lawyer & a boxing fan, Arum has this wrong. On the balance of probabilities AM can be held responsible for whats in his wraps. Have a look at ESPN.com... theres video there of AM getting his hands wrapped... you can see that it is virtually impossible to get BOTH your hands wrapped and not know... even if you didnt whilst they were being wrapped, when you started to use them you would notice the difference in shock absorbtion if they were water activated casts/gauze/wraps - which is what they were found to be. Arum is protecting his reputation and fighter, but legally many cases and ancillary points of evidence are established and tried on probability. Fact is the probability that Margarito had no idea is very low.

I'm surprised that Arum is making these statements. A lawyer knows that silence is golden when appropriate. I mean his fighter is lying or such a simpleton that he didn't realize what was being put on his own hands while he's watching them getting wrapped...(?) And being that ****** is its own crime. Arum is showing either greed or lack of respect for the sport either way respect is diminishing.

Comparing this to Roger jumping in the ring on Zab? Floyd had little control over that situation. Maybe Marg was oblivious to the attempted illegal padding. But it is still, and will probably always be, unknown as to whether he knew about it. Comparing this to the Mayweather situation seems illogical from my perspective.

arum is short of saying that margarito did not commit any mistakes at all! this is ridiculous.

if we follow arum's reasoning, a fighter may just use illegal wraps and if get caught, blame the trainer and profess innocense.

          caramba!!!!
