Why In The World Should Floyd Fight Shane "Now"?

I think Floyd would get a certain level of resecpt for beating up on Mosley Forrest style (probably would not get a knock down though), but if he just outboxed him and made him look his age I have no lcue how much respect he would get from that (most likely some would and some would not). It does not really suprise me that this fight did not come about, because this is atleast the 3rd time the fight has not happeaned (so atleast this is not some new disapointment).

If Floyd is not going to fight Mosley for 10 or 12 million upfront (guessing on Floyd's upfront offer), really the only people that could possibly bring more are Pacman or Hatton. Things could change with Floyd's money situation in the future though, that comple him to come back in the future as opposed to right now (which also favors Pacman and Hatton being that they are younger then Shane).

They are amongst the TOP fighters in their Division.. This is WHY they should fight..

but should they fight now is his point. He got some validity in what he saying. We can't absolutely say Mosley is the top WW when he has loss, a close loss to man in the WW division. Mosley/cotto should happen 1st atleast for the hype!

The reason these guys all have losses (Cotto,Marg,Mosley,Clottey,Quintana,Cintron,Willia ms etc etc.. Is because they have all fought each other...

A perfect record once at the top is a rare thing, indeed.. as long as you fight top guys.. a loss isn't such a bad thing..

I do not think it is that cut and dry, although I see your point if Shane avenged the Cotto lose it would be an even bigger event. Shane is big enough at this point in his career that he should not really have to jump through hoops to get a fight with Floyd, that said if they did not offer enough to draw him out of retirement; if the offer did not satisfy him he has every right to turn it down (as does any fighter).

Still the fight could have happeaned several times in the past, I don't see why people get bent out of shape about this fight at this point when Floyd has been out of the game for a year and a half

I think the reason all those guys have losses is because they all lack something and are not complete fighters. Maragrito can't box to save his life, Cintron has no heart and relys on his power too much, quintana is just ok nothign special, williams has lapses in focus at times and don't know how to setup his shots. Cotto lacks the speed he needs to take him over the top Only 1 of those fighters in that grp I really respect their fight game and that is Mosley, but Mosley fights down to his competition at time and gets out of his gameplan weigh too much for my liking.

Floyd despite his out of the ring shenagins always come focused and stays on his game plan. he never fights the wrong fight and that is what seperates him from the rest

Because Mosley just KTFO, the guy that Punked Mayweather and made him look like a ***** in a Conference. And the fact that if Mosley is so easy win as his huggers states, the he should pick Mosley as a Tunned, because if he gos straight to a big fight and he loses, then his huggers will say he was rusty because of the layoff!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes.. those are all good points.. But .. and it's a BIG but.. If Mayweather is as confident in his abilities as YOU are.. Then all of those are Good money fights.. all of those are legacy building fights..
Why not take a few of them.. and shut guys like ME up???

I never question Floyd's Athletic talents or Ring Skills.. Only his fighter's heart..
