Are people serious about this Version of Shane Mosley having a real chance against Mayweather?

Mayweather said this pretty much word for word, and its true imo.

"Shane makes too many mistakes"

If he thinks he can walk in, head up, hands down, hardly any head movement and find Mayweather without getting a right hand or left counter, he's crazy.

Cotto outboxed him, and cotto is a superb fighter, but he aint on mayweather's level skill wise.

i wouldnt say Mosley would be the favorite to beat Mayweather but i do think hs is a very credible threat. He has the power that Mayweather has yet to face in the WW division and he has the speed not to match him at this point but to give him trouble both on the offense and defensive end. Mosley can beat him so it makes no sense for Mayweather to fight him thats not his type of fights!

I completely disagree, Shane would have lots of trouble getting off against Floyd. Have you seen Shanes loses, I mean the real loses not the Cotto fight. Winky and Forrest made Mosley look so so bad, now they both have a lot of size on Floyd so Mosley might be able to make something happean a little better for himself against Floyd. To me Shane need to prove he can beat a better technical boxer then himself, he has never really done that with the exception of possibly Oscar (with an assist from Balco). So until you prove to me that Shane can do anything of note versus a really good technical boxer (that does not hurt his had and become a 1 handed fighter, like Collazo) I can not see him having any sort of success against Floyd (if Mosley was a 10 to 1 underdog I would not bet on him on this fight, and I almost always would go that route in this sort of fight).

I still would want to see the fight even with all I said because Shane deserves the chance to prove me wrong, and have wanted to see the fight come off for years and years

mosley isnt beating mayweather... its one thing to look good against a slow plodding come forward fighter... its another thing to look good and beat floyd... it wouldnt happen, as much as id like it to.

I think you got Mayweather and Mosley confused man. Shane sucks at making adjustments in fights, if what he does is not working he gets this sad look on his face. That face eventually turns into the I don't know what to do face (check Winky and Forrest fights for the face, and although he did better in the 2nd encounter with both men he never came up with anyway to really get the better of them in anyway). Mayweather I have seen make adjustments in many fights, but Mosley he is terrible at it.

Since when that has been one of Mosley's biggest flaws his whole career. Mosley has never been a fighter to make great mid-fight adjustments.
