for manny pacquio or hatton. the money, any of them would generate, doubles what he would make fighting mosely. manny and hatton have a "'paying" fan base that shane doesnt' have.

he do what he wants....when he does do what the fans want they burn him for it. The fans wanted Zab, he gave it to them and they burned him for it. The fans wanted hatton, he gave it to them and they burn him for it.

Also keep in mind that the 3 fights everyone wants keeps changing. Fans just want to go with who is hot and not the consistentcy in the last few yrs. Like i said...Ilike Mosley but he had plenty of chances to make this fight and it seemed like he was always the reason it nver happened!

the fans wanted Zab and Hatton? you talking out the side of your neck now man, EVERYONE and their ancestors that I knew felt it was pointless for Hatton and Floyd to fight, that it didn't make sense and the general talk surrounding that fight was that it was a mismatch, how you can even sit there and pretend even in your own mind that fans actually wanted Hatton-Mayweather is absurd beyond belief, and Zab? that fight made even less sense, they were supposed to fight when they were BOTH undefeated a long ass time ago and it didn't happen, THAT'S when fans wanted it, when the actual fight happened though nobody wanted that fight, it was big because they both accepted by the urban community but it was FAR from demanded or requested by any fan, infact Judah had already lost to Baldomir and Mosley was campaigning for a fight with Floyd too, THAT'S the fight people wanted they wanted Mayweather-Mosley so for you to actually sit there a FRONT, because that's what you are doing man, to sit there and front like people wanted to see Hatton and Judah fight him is crazy, that can only be said if you're TRYING to give him some undeserved credit, nobody wanted those fights..

saying people wanted Floyd to fight Judah is like saying they wanted him to fight Sharmba Mitchell, they was all supposed to have already fought at the same time but didn't and it was BACK THEN people wanted the fght, Zab was already flawed and so was Mitchell, that was like Joe Calzaghe fighting B-Hop and Roy when he did, yes we wanted the fights at one point but when they fought nobody wanted to see those fights, they already knew what would happen exactly as it happened. nobody wanted those fights, he fought those opponents out of a pool full of better fights, Mosley was better than Zab, Mitchell and Baldomir fused together at that time and even more so now. Mosley was always around, he was always down to fight Floyd and people always wanted to see it even more today yet look, he turns away from the fight..

he DIDN'T give the fans the fights they wanted to see since Lightweight, he's been half assing us since leaving 135 and people been buying it. he started hand picking his opponents to preserve his career, this is why he would face Miguel Cotto at 140 for peanuts, a weight where Miguel was clearly drained and weaker, but wouldn't face him when he was an undefeated Welterweight king just like you were and after he beat Mosley, a man you were supposed to face yourself but he did it for you, Floyd just fell back then, Cotto was a threat and he fell back but at 140 where Cotto clearly wasn't who he is now he wanted to fight him, it's pure bull**** because if I was willing to face you for chump change when you were half the man you now are I should be able to face you now that you have found yourself and are my equal. it's very tasteless and for you to sit there and defend him, lie about people wanting to see him against Hatton and Judah is wrong, people never demanded those fights, they wanted him to fight Margarito, Mosley and Cotto and he fought neither of the 3, THAT'S the truth..

This isnt big news, floyd has said for a while he aint coming out of retirement.

When he did that radio interview with that sports radio station which I think was a few weeks ago, he said he was happy, he loads of money and wasnt coming back.

He's been saying that for a while from what i seen, when he was interview by showtime at the dawson-tarver fight, he said he wasnt coming back then too.

Its a case of floyd saying he is not coming back right now period, not a case of floyd saying he'll come back but he wont fight shane mosley.

But, yeah floyd is deathly afraid of shane and will never fight him, which is why when he was active, he called shane out at 140 after the brussless fight on HBO PPV and nothing happened, thats why Mayweather offered him out at 147 a while back, shane didnt wanna know and got toothache.

But yeah, its all down to floyd, hes ducking pacman, Mosley, cotto, Audley Harrison, Amir Khan, Tyson Fury and just about any fighter that would have a chance against him.

A lot of you here have absolutely NO respect for Mayweather. I think you guys are haters, because if you know the sport of boxing, then you know Mayweather is the best boxer alive on this planet right now!

He would beat Mosely, Cotto, Margarito, or anyone else from 140-154! He is being smart and he is waiting for the outcome of the pacman vs. hatton which will net him DOUBLE of what he can make fighting Mosely. Back when Mosely was on top, he didn't want to see Mayweather, and now that Mayweather is the man to beat; Mosely wants the fight...My, oh my, have the tables turned!

Ps. Apparently Joe calzaghe called out Cassuis Clay for a career defining fight, but clay said he would stay retired.
