Did he look like he would beat someone of the caliber of Pacquiao in those fights? Hell to the nah...

I can't recall the last time Hatton fought a fighter who can both box and brawl and with the speed of Pacquiao. It's just a nightmare match up for Hatton considering he gets easily taken out of his game plan and that left hand is gonna be there all night.

two body shot knock outs here being dished out to Pac man by nobodys, ok well he has come along way since then but he is going to be getting hit by many of these by hatton and he sucks on the back foot and Hatton will have him on it all night long, Hatton dont mind soaking up that left jab on the way in either, i realy dont think pac is going to be able to handle them air sucking rib shots, and you know it, check out the footage, he is better but not so good he wont get hit by them.

The first link was a body shot KO... the second link which was the first Pacquiao KO? He got hit in the head...did you watch it?
If you think those videos are still relevant why show it to us? we've already seen those.. show it to Ricky's camp... oh wait.. don't Mayweather Sr. might slap you in the face..or the body..or face..

But I get it though... you mean Manny should not under estimate Ricky Hatton's power or he might get KO'ed by a body shot. Possible.

Pacman beats Hatton because he is a better fighter.

              Somethings are that simple.

So why in Gods name do peope think Pac will destroy a guy who has never lost a fight at 140...at a weight where Pacs never been.

Hes never taken 140 pound punches....how will he deal with the constant pressure??..the body shots?/..the wrestling??..the strength???...Sr. in the corner??

I think Pac will be stopped by Hatton....in 8 rounds or so.
What about Hatton's fights with Lazcano and Malignaggi makes you think he can beat Pacquiao?

stylewise, hatton's mauling style is not good for anyone because it spoils other fighters style... but that style doesnt work against bigger opponents who are stronger than hatton, but I dont think pac is stronger than hatton.

pac's gonna need a good ref to beat hatton

Exactly what I been saying. If you take a second to think, Pac hasn't beaten anyone out of the 130 pound division. Diaz is trash who had already lost to EM and DLH looked like straight up ****. So why does everyone think he'll easily beat the best Jr WW in Hatton...someone who is just as fast on his legs, stronger and will aply the kind of pressure Pac has never seen

The same can be said for Hatton. He's never fought a pressure fighter or anyone with the speed of Pacquiao. You can say he did against Floyd, but I've always said people get accuracy and speed confused, Floyd is more of an accurate puncher more that him just being really fast (though he does have speed).

You have to box Pacquaio from a distance, but Hatton doesn't or never has fought that way. He'll get dragged into a brawl and it'll be downhill for Hatton.

Him beating Diaz and Oscar was just the icing on the cake after coming off one of his best fights against JMM. He's been in bigger battles than what a Hatton fight will pose to him (regardless of the weight).
