wlad has to defend his IBF crown by semptember 12 vs povetkin(ibf # 1 contender) or he'll get stripped or at least has to set up a match by then

Having your hands up isn't all there is to a defence, Ali frequently didn't keep his hands up, he relied on his reactions, especially early in his career, and so does Haye; but Haye has much better head movement and lateral movement than Brock and that is also part of defence.

But my main point is just that Haye and Brock are very different fighters indeed. Wlad may knock Haye out, but if he does it won't be with the sort of punch he used against Brock, which relied on the guy standing in front of him. Haye won't stand in front of Wlad.

And Wlad's chin isn't exactly made of granite either.

Anyone who thinks Haye is just gonna stand stationary like a fool getting jabbed is most likely very mistaken. This ain't a shot Rahman. Even he managed to go 7 rounds.

Haye needs to stay away, then explode like he usually does and use movement to get out of the away. If he connects while doing this I see trouble for Wlad.
