Emanuel Steward, trainer of IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir KLitschko, was told by his fighter that a contract for a June 20 showdown with David Haye is close to finalized, with the O2 Arena in London as the frontrunner venue. Too right. I was looking forward to travelling only so far to reach my nearest stadium (thank goodness it wasn't Twickenham they were considering).
Now I'll have to go clear across the ruddy city using all those trains, just for a measly dome-shaped arena which was for many years the laughing stock of London (it'll always be the 'Millenium Dome' to me).Comment
