You don't know... just like none of us know for sure that he DIDN'T cheat.... Your passion and drive are admirable... but you still don't have any more inside information on Margarito's other fights than anyone else on boxingscene, or any other message board for that sake.

i disagree; the hands - getting harder and harder as the fight goes on gives you a psychotic mental edge. trust that man loaded his gloves against cotto - which was the fight that would propel him to future 7 figga paydays if he wins; it was THE fight to HAVE to win. money is the greatest motivator, and margo had a lot to lose in not winning that one.

its just logic.

it's been said before, fighting is 10% physical 90% mental and if a loaded glove'd margarito has the x-factor knowing that his punches are getting harder as the fight goes on - it diminished everything that man's done in the ring.

IMO - i'm glad he probably wont ever be heard from again; the dude's a certified cheater.

He's guilty, *** him but I can't say for sure what he did in the past. Doesn't matter though, his career is all but over unless he comes back after the year and shocks everyone.

I have to be real for a second here. I was a big fan of Margarito because he was such a hard worker and his style in the ring was very exciting. Now that all of this has come out, he has tarnished his name forever.

Let's just say for the sake of argument that he didn't wrap his hands illegally against Cintron or Cotto or any other opponent before Mosley, nobody will ever believe he didn't do it.

It's sad because he has had such a great career and being only 30 still has a good few years in his prime in the sport. I don't think that he will ever bounce back from this and it's a shame that it had to come to this.

I'm very disappointed in Marg and his trainer especially and I can't believe that Marg wasn't aware of what was going on being he and his trainer were so tight.

His performance against Cotto was epic and we will never know if he had illegally wrapped his hands that was in that fight but now it doesn't matter. I have lost all respect for Margarito because of this and it's a shame that it had to go down like this.

If there's a slim chance that his trainer was doing this without Marg knowing or understanding it, then he should immediately fire his trainer and separate himself from him forever but I believe in my heart that he knew what was up.

I have respect for you and a few other Margarito fans who realize the severity of what Margo has done. Not to beat on a dead horse but eventhough it can be proven, do you think more than likely Margo cheated in the Cotto fight?

I'm not saying that Toni was oblivious to what went on... but even the CSAC said that it was a "supsect wrap" inside of a knuckle pad that was to be put on both fists.

I'm not saying he was oblivious, or innocent. But there's a possibility Toni had no idea what had been done to two knuckle pads that had been prepared before they had ever been put on his hands.

I don't know, I mean I'm not mad for people being sceptical or even thinking he did. It's going to go with the territory.

I would love to see Marg come back after 1 year and fight Cotto again or even have Cotto fight Marg in Mexico but I don't think Cotto would do something like that. Maybe even put something in the contract that he would have HIS trainer wrap Margs hands, that would be reasonable.

I have respect for Marg because he's come from nothing and nobody gave him a chance ever and he rose to the top. Did he do it by cheating? I don't know but even if he didn't, he's tarnished his name forever.
