I saw a few guys on NSB claim him to be the best 168 fighter in history over Calzaghe a few weeks ago.

Lets remember.....After beating the dead on his feet James Toney he then went on to duck the likes of Chris Eubank, Graciano Rocchigiani, Nigel Benn and Steve Collins......Instead of fighting these top rated fighters he took on the likes of Antoine Byrd, Who? Vinny Pazienza, former lightweight who had not long returned from a broken neck, Tony Thornton, Postman , Eric Lucas, a Glen Catley victim and Bryant Brannon, a former cop...I could be mistaking about him being a cop but thats what i heard....He's garbage anyway so its beside the point. LOL!

How in the hell could anyone rate Jones above Calzaghe at 168?

You seem to have an obsession with Roy Jones, and proving at least to yourself that he's not as good as he really was.

Every fighter in history has people who doubt his abilities, people who think that he'll not beat so-and-so, but the thing is we won't ever know the result of a prime Roy facing Calzaghe. You need to lay these arguments to rest, because Roy stans aren't going to give it up, and they'll stick to their opinions. And I don't think you're helping the cause by continuously posting moot points.

I respect your opinion, and you are entitled to it, but you're not helping the cause of Stans on this board by posting continuous threads regarding Roy's fans being 'deluded'

- Watch this vid from about 5:15 on and you'll see Roy clearly state that he'd made offers to fight Nigel and Steve, both of whom turned him down.

Nigel Benn claims there was no offer made he said it was BS....I beleive Benn, he said he'd fight Roy for nothing (obviously he wouldn't have for nothing but he wouldn't have made it hard to fight) he was a warrior who'd fight anyone....He done this right through his career. Eubank got asked about RJ last week on the boxing hour and he simply stated " Throy did not font to fight me" Eubank is to much of a gentleman to lie about anything like that.....Collins chassed his ass for years too!

Theres Calzaghe hate on this forum 24/7 but thats ok....As soon as someone makes a few threads about Roy and his fans though people are calling for bans over it...****ing *****s.

I think prime for prime Calzaghe could give Jones a difficult fight either way. Calzaghe's speed and work rate create trouble for anyone, but I think Calz defense liabilities could get him heavily countered. Roy just wasn't the same guy against Calzaghe, seriously he got knocked out twice and humiliated.
