Very solid card for the hardcore boxing crew. No big names though so it better not be 50 dollars. Give back to the boxing community, since they will be the only one buying these fights. 30 bucks, not a cent higher.
Valero-Pitalua, Katsidis-Chavez, Barrios-Hernandez on 4/4

Contender is a reality show first, boxing second so it draws both fans. I just think Toney-Oquendo could have left a sour taste in their mouths and higher selectivity when buying fights.Comment

Why the hell would they be hesitant to buy a man with a 100% KO record when they have no other fights?Comment

This better not be $50. It's a pretty good card, but PPV? Are they fu(kin' serious? Is that the only way they get all 4 fights televised or something?Comment

Christ almighty.....another frickin pay per view? Not only that but the card, while decent in of itself, is nowhere near PPV worthy. I know it's been said before and I hate beating a dead horse but my god, boxing or rather its promoters continue to shoot the sport in its foot by charging for fights that belong on ESPN, or HBO BAD.
I'm a Katsidis fan but I'm not paying to watch his fights nor will I pay to watch any of the other guys' fights that night. Really sad.....Comment

PPV has been around for 30 years. It ain't gonna stop, unfortunately.
And since ESPN doesn't pay **** and HBO didn't want it ( don't know why really) , they don't have much choice it seems.Comment
