This is not PPV material IMO, they better split up the fights or drastically reduce the price of it to around $25, which I really doubt they would do; and even then I doubt if I'd buy it.

Really, who is the star of this group? Valero? lol I've heard of him, but only in reference to facing Manny Pacquiao and Katsidas is good fighter but dropped the ball in both of his chances to become the next Gatti.

I predict deplorable numbers if this is anywhere near $50. In the Casa-Marquez fight, they sold it as a HBO PPV but then it turned out to be Golden Boy PPV with Mario Lopez as a host and two commentators who were good but not even close to the HBO crew... not even close to Bob Pappa lol.

I love how a bunch of idiots here complain about this card being on PPV.

DLH vs Manny was good fight and the undercard ****** balls, and people were willing to pay for it. Then they complained about the bad undercard, here you dont have a star fighter, but you have a bunch of good fighters with great talent, willing to give the fans the best fight possible.

You guys need to STFU, and pay the damn PPV, because is ****ing worth it!!!!!!!!

This card looks like the best card so far put on, for 2009!!!!!!!

without the big name fighter, it wont be shown in bars. and thats what I always do when theres a big PPV fight...go to a bar to watch it. 50 bucks is expensive, I cant afford that stuff.

HBO doesn't put up any money, they just take half of the PPV revenue off the top.

what a card! i havent seen famoso for a while! and he is facing barrios!!! a brilliant come forward in-fighter against a blood and guts slugger!!! katsidis vs chavez? the mere thought of it gets my blood curdling in anticipation... add valero vs pitalua into the mix and you have three excellent matchups that can rival mma in terms of brutality... expect very little sweet science in those fights boys!!!

Then who hires the production cast and pays the commentators? HBO does, doesn't it?

Valero's 0 will be tarnished. Sorry Valero but I think Pitalua will beat you. He has a better movement than you are. Good chin too. Although he's already 38 he doesn't look like 38.

I hope Barrios wears the proper mouthpiece the next time. Or else, he'll look like the Joker.

How, when a great card like this is announced, do people worry about crap like this? Valero, Katsidis, Barrios, Chavez and possibly Casamayor all on the one night... nah, let's talk about HBO commentators and production staff.

                      Way more interesting.
